BNI Nexus are delighted to announce that Lauren Young, founder and owner of Wishing Wellness has become the latest member of our networking group.

A highly successful and experienced Psychotherapist, Lauren combined her extensive knowledge, skills, and qualifications with a nose for business to start Wishing Wellness, a therapy service helping people to break free from their anxiety and mental health struggles.

Unsurprisingly, given Lauren’s passion and expertise, the business has been extremely successful in the years since, and we are delighted that she has decided to join our networking group.

Lauren’s drive and enthusiasm is something that her clients benefit from on a daily basis and we are in no doubt will make her an incredible addition to the group. Everyone has been extremely impressed with Lauren in her short time with us so far and we look forward to getting to know her more in the months and years ahead.

Get to know Lauren

Lauren does some incredible work in the local community as a psychotherapist, helping people from all backgrounds to find their voice, overcome anxiety, and build the confidence they need to be unapologetically themselves.

Lauren is extremely well qualified and highly experienced with a Master of Arts in Psychology, and Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is accredited member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). She has been working in the therapy world for well over a decade now and has worked with charities, councils, schools, and universities over the years to improve the quality of mental health services available.

Even now with a successful private practice of her own, Lauren still takes the time to provide counselling in a local secondary school two days every week.

Lauren is fantastic as what she does, both in her role as a therapist and as a business owner, building her brand Wishing Wellness into one of the most recognisable therapy businesses in Scotland.

The combination of community mindfulness and a knack for business made Lauren a dream candidate for BNI Nexus, a place where local businesses can grow together whilst staying true to their local community roots here in the Glasgow area.
