Whether you are new to BNI or simply visiting a different group, here's a quick guide to our meeting format.
Visitors Information
Everyone should arrive from 6.30am and no later than 7.00am. This time is put aside for networking and getting to know one another; it is much easier to get business for someone if you really know who they are and what they do.
After grabbing some breakfast at 7.00am, everyone sits down for the main part of the meeting. Each member tells everybody what connections they would like and what referrals they are looking for that week. One member has a ten minute presentation on their business and this is a great chance for everybody to learn more about their company.
From around 8am, there will be a chance for all chapter members to exchange referrals they have passed throughout the previous week. The formal part of the meeting finishes at 8.30am, after which there is a fantastic time to continue speaking and discuss referral requests over a coffee.
The formal part of the meeting is over, leaving members another opportunity to meet visitors, network, and follow up on requests from the meeting… and all this happens before a typical day’s work has even begun!
How to find us
Meetings are located in Bellahouston Park, opposite the Glasgow Outdoor Ski Centre. Access is by the entrance from Dumbreck Road.
We have excellent road links and are very conveniently located close to both the M8 (junction 23) and M77 (junction 1) motorways. There is a car park at the hospice, but during the day spaces can fill up quickly.
