The newest member of the Nexus chapter, Michele Brown, recently launched her interior design studio. Based in modern purpose-built business centre Morris Park, this next step will help Michele to continue growing her company Interiors Forty-Five. 

Why did you launch an interior design studio? 

Previously, Michele had been working with clients in the Glasgow area and taking samples and designs to them. Although this worked well to begin with, it was clear having a dedicated space to invite clients into would be valuable – for both her and her clients. 

The studio launch event on the 18^th May was a huge success, with Michele’s contacts and previous clients in attendance. Many of the Nexus members came along to view the transformation from the empty, stark breeze-block unit to a warm, inviting space.

Why did you join BNI Nexus? 

Michele set up her interior design and styling business in 2020. After landing some great initial projects and creating a sustainable business, she knew it was time to take it to the next level. 

With many business owners in the room Michele can collaborate with and learn from, it felt like the right way to grow. Michele has a great portfolio of interior design projects and is now looking to attract more high-end, larger design work in Glasgow and beyond. 

As a group, we are looking forward to seeing where Michele’s business goes, as this is only the beginning.
