Saira is the owner of a utilities consultancy firm, helping homeowners and businesses across the UK escape from energy debt and save money on their utility bills.

It is always an exciting time when someone new joins BNI Nexus and Saira’s recent mini introduction presentation left us in no doubt that her business will be a fine addition to the group.

Saira Lee – Utilities Consultancy provide home and business owners across the UK with completely free health checks on their utility bills, keeping their energy expenditure to a minimum and allowing them to live the lives that they rightly deserve.

Energy debt is a huge problem in the UK and knowing how to read energy bills and find the best possible deals is key to business success and a comfortable home life.

BNI Nexus is all about creating business opportunities for our fellow members by making referrals and recommending their services to potential customers when the chance presents itself.

It’s a Family Thing

Saira may only have joined us recently, but she’s certainly no stranger to BNI and is fully aware of the potential benefits that being a member can bring to a business.

In fact, she is already somewhat royalty within the BNI community with family ties spanning over several decades. Back in the 1990s, Saira’s father was the first person to bring the BNI movement to Scotland and she recalls fond memories of attending meetings with him as a teen.

Now having built a highly successful business of her own, Saira has returned to her roots and is looking forward to replicating the shared growth and success she has witnessed in so many other BNI members over the years.

Saira credits her family history with BNI as a big reason for joining our chapter and we are delighted that her experiences so far have lived up to expectations.

BNI Nexus thrives due to the quality of its membership and with only one business from any industry being granted membership, only Glasgow businesses that add significant value to the organisation are considered.

Joining BNI

The success of BNI Nexus in recent years has made membership increasingly desirable for Glasgow businesses, and with only one business allowed per industry, only a select few reach the introduction stage.

Don’t let us scare you off though, we don’t bite! We are always on the lookout for any business that we feel would add value to the group and always welcome fresh perspectives at our weekly meetings. After all, how will we build our companies for the future if we always stick to the same old ideas.

New members are given all the support they could possibly need when they join BNI Nexus as well as a platform to inform the rest of the group about the services they provide.

The 4-minute presentation recently given by Saira is only the start of the platform new members are given to inform the group about the services they provide and what they will bring to the table as a member.

This presentation is only available to members who have completed their Member Success Programme (MSP) a mandatory training programme designed to jump-start a new members time at BNI . The MSP includes guidance on how to get great referrals and how to create the most informative introduction presentation.

Saira clearly took this process to heart as her presentation was both informative and engaging and we look forward to hearing more at her 10 minute presentation in the near future.

We find our new members love to hit the ground running but still try to ease them in gently and this two stage presentation process is a nice way for them to get a better understanding of what it means to be a BNI member before being asked to give their full length presentation.
