Spring has well and truly sprung here at BNI Nexus, and we are off to a flier with a March packed full of referrals, new members, and first time guests.

At the first meeting of every month, we take the opportunity to reflect and recognise some of the outstanding contributions made by members over the previous four weeks.

There are always plenty of things to celebrate after a busy month of networking, but with nearly £400,000 worth of referrals generated by just three of our members, last month was pretty remarkable even by BNI Nexus standards.

Most Referrals – Mark Brennan – 18

BNI Nexus is built on referrals. With business leaders from almost every industry imaginable, there is always someone to recommend, and the connections that our members make for each other generate over 6 million pounds worth of business in the average year.

The commitment of our members to making referrals for each other is absolutely vital to our continued shared growth, which is why we take the time to recognise our ‘networking leaders’ each month. In March, the battle for most referrals was a hard fought one, but in the end it was Mark Brennan who was the most prolific, making a whopping 18 referrals in just four short weeks.

Quantity of referrals is great, but it is the quality of referrals that really makes BNI Nexus special. Mark certainly got the memo in this regard, with an exceptional £131,295 worth of business resulting from the 18 referrals made.

Congratulations Mark, and a big well done to everyone who made it into double figures this month!

Highest Value of Referrals – Bryan Wood – £170,958

Bryan has been building business at BNI Nexus for over 17 years, but shows no sign of slowing down, making referrals worth an exceptional £170,958 during the month of March.

A brilliant effort from Bryan, who played a big part in one of the most successful months in the history of BNI, where plenty of members were right at the top of their networking game.

In fact, the three members who brought in the most business this month generated well over £350k themselves, and plenty of others got in on the act as well.

Bryan Wood (£170,958), Mark Brennan (£131,295), and Andy Hart (£84,273) made referrals worth a grand total of £385,526 between them in March alone, pretty impressive when you consider this is around 6% of the estimated £6m passed between BNI Nexus members in a standard year.

Here’s to you guys, and here’s to another record breaking month in April! At this rate 2024, looks set to be a pretty special one here at BNI Nexus.

Most Visitors Invited – Jordan Grant & Gordon Young – 2

As our networking leaders from last month showed, the existing members of BNI Nexus are pretty prolific when it comes to generating business between themselves.

However, we are constantly striving for more and attracting new prospects of the highest calibre has been fundamental to our growth over the years.

All our existing members are encouraged to bring visitors along to our weekly meeting, ensuring that no two meetings are ever quite the same, and there is a constant flow of new people, perspectives, and opportunities coming through the doors.

Many of our current members had never even heard of BNI before being invited along as a visitor and millions of pounds worth of business would’ve been lost without regular guest appearances.

A big shoutout to Jordan Grant & Gordon Young who tied for bringing the most new visitors along to our meetings in March with two fresh faces apiece, it was great to meet all the newbies and we hope to see you all back soon!
