A massive BNI Nexus welcome to our latest member Iain Gallacher, renowned Glasgow based photographer and founder of the company IG Photography.

Whilst Iain’s skills with the camera are exceptional, it his ability to help his subjects to relax that has led to Iain becoming one of the most popular photographers in Glasgow.

Everyone who has attended a BNI Nexus meeting since Iain first came along has been just as impressed with his enthusiasm and can-do attitude as his previous clients and we are delighted he has decided to join as a full member.

Iain specialises in both portrait photography and commercial photography and has already helped many businesses across the whole of Scotland to stand out with stunning imagery that helps tell their brand story.

Get to Know Iain

Iain is one of the busiest and most well-regarded portrait and commercial photographers in Glasgow, travelling all over the country helping business to brand themselves, their products, and their services through the power of great imagery.

Just some of the services he provides to businesses include headshots and team photos, social media content and website imagery, product shots for E-commerce, personal branding, and drone photography.

Iain success has come in a big part thanks to his ability to carefully tailor his approach to meet the needs and timescales oof each client he takes on. At BNI Nexus we all know how hard it can be to find time whilst running a business and it is no surprise that Iain’s bespoke approach to photography has proved so popular in the commercial sector.

Alongside his commercial work, Iain has also worked on a number of personal passion projects where he has used his skills with the lens to highlight incredibly important social issues in his community.

As part of his final year at University, Iain took over 100 photos of men and gender non-conforming people during lockdown in a project that explored how different people across Glasgow view their own bodies and to help challenge viewers unconscious bias towards physical appearance.

All the images taken during the 100+5 project were compiled in a book celebrating body positivity to help raise money for men’s mental health charity Men Matter Scotland. We would encourage anyone to check it out here.

The incredible project rightly attracted plenty of media attention including being covered by Glasgow Live and featuring in a BBC documentary called Anton Danyluk on Body Shame.

We say this every time we take on someone new, but Iain’s approach the business and life in general really do demonstrate the calibre of new member we are looking for at BNI Nexus.

With a policy of one person/business per industry, we have to set the bar high if we are to maintain our reputation as the number one networking group in Scotland.
